<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair provided with a mounting part for an optional member to be detachably mounted thereto, which can suitably exhibit an aesthetic appearance to a viewer and effectively contribute to mounting of the optional member.SOLUTION: In a chair, a mounting part of an optional member is detachably mounted to an upper frame of a back support member fitted with a tension member. The back support member is provided with a pair of fitting surfaces for defining a mounting position of the mounting part. A distance between the paired fitting surfaces is set so as to vary gradually as the fitting surfaces are separated from a lateral direction center in the upper frame of the back support member as the boundary. While the mounting part closely contacts with the fitting surfaces, a position of the mounting part in the lateral direction is defined.</p> |
