Disclosed is a battery module which can secure improved overcharge safety as charging current is not supplied to a battery cell, but is bypassed through a duct while overcharged. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the battery module comprises: a plurality of battery cells including a first and a second terminal and a safety belt, and arranged in a row; a plurality of busbars connecting the battery cells in series; the duct organizationally combined on the battery cells to seal the safety belt, and including a first area heading for the battery cell, and a second area separated to face the first area; an extension plate electrically connected with a first terminal of a first battery cell among the battery cells, and enlarged toward the duct; and a short circuit plate electrically connected with a second terminal of a second battery cell among the battery cells, and enlarged toward the duct, wherein the duct is electrically connected with the extension plate, and is separated with the short circuit plate. |
