A decelerator according to the present invention is configured to enhance cooling performance of a decelerating apparatus by utilizing a lubricant in a decelerator comprising: an output shaft (14) to output a reduced rotation by a decelerating apparatus (12); a body casing (51) to accommodate the decelerating apparatus; and an output casing (52) to accommodate the output shaft, wherein the output casing is equipped with a cylinder part (52B) to support the output shaft through a (first) bearing (42) and a connecting part (52A) extended to the outside in a direction of diameter and connected to the body casing. In a section of a load side of the connecting part, a connecting member (60) connected to the body casing is disposed. On the circumference, a protruding part (52C) is arranged on a location without the connecting member. Inside the diameter of the corresponding protruding part, a passage part (71) for a lubricant is formed outside a bearing. A space (P1) at the decelerating apparatus side rather than the bearing and a space (P2) at the load side rather than the bearing communicate with each other by the corresponding passage part. |
