The present invention relates to an apparatus for therapeutic exercise in a sitting posture for the elderly, patients with nervous system damage, patients who need strength training for specific muscles positioned around the waist for a better posture, and lumbago patients having damage on the waist which may be caused from long-term sitting. More specifically, the present invention relates to an apparatus for therapeutic exercise in a sitting posture, enabling active training by users. An air cell mat comprises four air cells combined in a 2x2 arrangement. A central point of the weight is calculated by measuring the pressure and the ratio applied to the air cell mat. A resistant active exercise and a resistant calm exercise are performed by using the calculated central point and movement path, etc. And the users can control the exercises by visual and sound signals. |
