PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a reliable battery for a shorter time by shortening a period required for the manufacturing (typified by a voltage-unstable period), and maintaining and increasing the accuracy of a self discharge inspection.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a nonaqueous secondary battery comprises the steps of: preparing an electrode body; constructing a battery assembly with the electrode body and a nonaqueous electrolyte; initially charging the battery assembly; aging the battery assembly at 60°C or higher; forcing the battery assembly to start discharging after lowering the temperature of the battery assembly to a temperature region of 35-55°C; regulating SOC of the battery assembly; causing the battery assembly to discharge by itself, followed by measuring a voltage drop; and determining whether the battery assembly is good or not based on the voltage drop. |
