<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an advantageous technology in an AD converter using different phase clocks, for achieving a resolution higher than that corresponding the phase difference.SOLUTION: An AD converter includes: a comparator 101 for comparing a reference signal which monotonically varies in time, with an input voltage, and outputting a comparison result signal presenting the comparison result; a pulse signal generation circuit 105 for generating a pulse signal in response to the comparison result signal; a counting part 106 for receiving a first clock, and counting according to the first clock after the start of the comparison by the comparator, until the comparison result signal is outputted; and a latch part 104 for latching the pulse signal at a timing defined by a plurality of clocks including: a second clock having the same phase as the first clock; and a third clock having a different phase from the second clock.</p> |
