PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire harness production system and a wire harness production method which enable continuous production while absorbing differences in work capacity.SOLUTION: A wire harness production system includes a sub-harness production line 1 for producing intermediate productions, e.g. a sub-harness, and a wire harness assembly line for assembling a wire harness from e.g. a sub-harness and exterior parts. The sub-harness production line 1 includes a necessary wire sequential production step part 2, a terminal insertion step part 3 and a temporary placement management step part 4 arranged between the necessary wire sequential production step part 2 and the terminal insertion step part 3. In the temporary placement management step part 4, a step of placing a terminal-provided wire 5 temporarily is carried out. |
