PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive support device capable of more surely protecting a specific object.SOLUTION: A drive support device includes a recognition part which refers to peripheral information acquired by a sensor part for acquiring the peripheral information of its own vehicle to recognize the positions of a specific object and a road compartment line, and a control part which refers to the recognition result by the recognition part to perform different controls between a case in which the specific object exists on a side deviating from a travel lane with respect to a virtual line extending along the travel direction of the vehicle and a case in which the specific object exists on a center side of the travel lane with respect to the virtual line. |
