<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-size and light-weight power storage device that allows outputting a voltage higher than a voltage applied to one terminal pair, from the other terminal pair, and has the reduced number of switching of connection.SOLUTION: A power storage device 13 stores power supplied from terminals T1 and T2, and discharges the stored power from terminals T3 and T4. A power storage circuit 26 includes capacitors C1, C2, and C3, and a power storage circuit 27 includes capacitors C4, C5, and C6. A control unit 31 switches the connection of the power storage circuits 26 and 27 so that the power storage circuits 26 and 27 are connected in parallel between the terminals T1 and T2 when power is stored, and switches the connection of the power storage circuits 26 and 27 so that the power storage circuits 26 and 27 are connected in series between the terminals T3 and T4 when power is discharged.</p> |
