<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the injection hole corrosion of an injector.SOLUTION: A control device for an internal combustion engine having the injector in each cylinder head includes: a determination part for determining whether injection hole corrosion occurs or not in the injector, at least on the basis of the heat quantity of the cylinder head; and a fuel injection control part for selecting a fuel injection form to set the heat quantity of the cylinder head to be such a threshold value or greater that the avoidance of the injection hole corrosion is determined, when the determination part determines that the injection hole corrosion occurs. The selection of the fuel injection form to increase the heat quantity of the cylinder head hardly reduces a nozzle front end temperature to suppress the attachment of condensed water to the nozzle front end, thus avoiding the injection hole corrosion.</p> |
