The present invention relates to an electrode for a supercapacitor based on a conductive polymer and a manufacturing method thereof. The electrode has a structure which includes a substrate and the conductive polymer which is formed on the substrate. High electrical conductivity is implemented by removing a material which degrades the electrical conductivity through a post-process to perform an immersion process in hydrophilic solvents. Manufactured is the electrode with the supercapacitor performance of high specific capacitance by increasing a surface area.
