The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for restricting print of electronic documents shared with security level assigned, and more specifically, to a method and system of restricting a part of the whole print of electronic documents shared with security levels assigned by area. The method for restricting print of electronic documents shared with security levels assigned comprises the steps of determining a security level of the electronic document; designating the security level to the other sharing object of the electronic documents; applying different output access rights based on the security levels in one or more areas of the electronic documents; and transmitting the electronic documents to the sharing object to share the documents with. The present invention designates a security level to electronic documents, shares the documents and restricts print of the electronic documents based on the security level to reduce risks of information leaked outside and to transmit the information contained in the documents with minimum information blocking based on the level.
