The present invention relates to a washing machine including an integrated wire harness and a method for assembling the same. The washing machine comprises: a casing; a tub installed inside the casing; a cover which is joined to the top of the casing and has an opening to allow laundry to be injected; a control panel attached to the front side of the cover to enable users to select a washing mode; a lower electrical component which is positioned under the tub and includes a driving device; the integrated wire harness of which one side is joined to the control and of which the other side is joined to the lower electrical component panel to transmit an electrical signal; and a guide arranged on the top of one side of the casing to allow the wire harness to be extended and fixated. The washing machine reduces a production cost with the use of the integrated wire harness for connecting the control box and the lower electrical component of the tub; and prevents a fire included by dielectric breakdown from breaking out in the washing machine.
