The power plant using an oil tanker of the present invention comprises: a generator connected to a main engine pre- installed on a used tanker or a discarded oil tanker; an acceleration apparatus connected to the main engine and the generator to increase the number of revolutions of the engine to be transmitted to the generator; and a crude oil refining equipment which refines crude oil on an upper deck.
