<p>AN AIR CONDITIONER INCLUDES A HORIZONTALLY DRIVEN HUMAN BODY DETECTING SENSOR (7), A PLURALITY OF HORIZONTAL WIND DIRECTION CHANGING BLADES (4A, 4B) FOR HORIZONTALLY CONTROLLING A WIND DIRECTION, AND A PLURALITY OF VERTICAL WIND DIRECTION CHANGING BLADES (5A, 5B) FOR VERTICALLY CONTROLLING THE WIND DIRECTION. THE AIR CONDITIONER HAS A SCANNING MODE, IN WHICH THE HUMAN BODY DETECTING SENSOR (7) IS DRIVEN HORIZONTALLY TO DETERMINE A HEAT SOURCE, AND A FIXED MODE IN WHICH THE HUMAN BODY DETECTING SENSOR (7) IS FIXED TO DETERMINE A HUMAN BODY. HUMAN BODY DETECTION IS CONDUCTED IN THE FIXED MODE AFTER THE SCANNING MODE HAS BEEN EXECUTED. AN AREA TO BE AIR CONDITIONED IS DIVIDED INTO A PLURALITY OF BLOCKS IN A DIRECTION IN WHICH THE HUMAN BODY DETECTING SENSOR (7) IS DRIVEN, AND WHEN A PLURALITY OF HUMAN BODIES HAVE BEEN DETECTED IN ONE OF THE BLOCKS, THE WIND DIRECTION IS DIRECTED TO A HUMAN BODY CLOSEST TO AN INDOOR UNIT DURING HEATING AND TO ANOTHER HUMAN BODY FARTHEST FROM THE INDOOR UNIT DURING COOLING.</p> |
