<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quantization processing method using dither patterns that make it possible to obtain a dot array having excellent dispersibility even in either case of a single color or mixed color.SOLUTION: For this purpose, a first dither pattern 411 and a second dither pattern 421 are prepared in order to quantize multivalued data for a first ink to binary data. Also, a third dither pattern 412 and a fourth dither pattern 422 are prepared in order to quantize multivalued data for a second ink to binary data. Further, on the basis of a combination of the multivalued data on the first ink and the multivalued data on the second ink, quantization means (306 or 307) for the first ink and quantization means (308 or 309) for the second ink are determined.</p> |
