<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of useful materials in which a culture medium does not flow backward.SOLUTION: The invention provides a production method of useful materials comprising producing by secreting useful materials in a culture medium using bacteria contained in the culture medium. The production method of useful materials contains a surfactant (A) and an organic polar compound antifoam (B) in the culture medium. Preferably, the useful material is protein, the protein has a character in which the protein expressed within bacteria transfers to the periplasm, and the bacteria has an outer membrane. The used amount of the antifoam (B) is 0.00001-20 wt.% based on the weight of the culture medium.</p> |
