<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To alleviate stress concentration in a region extending over a stem connected to a vehicle body frame and rear arm parts located with a rear wheel between them.SOLUTION: A swing arm (30) is connected to a vehicle body frame (11) of a motor cycle (10) and supports a rear wheel (32). The swing arm includes a pair of rear arm parts (42) which extend backward from a stem (41) connected to the vehicle body frame and hold the rear wheel between them and bracket parts (43) each provided in the rear end part of the individual rear arm parts. The individual bracket parts form a shape having a hole (52) penetrating the axle of the rear wheel and an external formation surface (55) positioned so as to be connected to the outer peripheral surface of the rear arm part. The inner surface, in the vehicle width direction, of the external formation surface (55) is inclined forward from the side of a hole formation region to the outer side in the vehicle width direction, in the top plane view.</p> |
