摘要 <p>Provided is a vehicle rail mechanism that achieves superior weight savings while suppressing deformation caused by the engagement of a lower rail and a bent portion that is provided to an upper rail. A lower rail (2) has upright walls (12, 13) that rise from width direction ends of a bottom wall (11) and that are curved such that tip parts (12a, 13a) are directed downward. An upper rail (3) has extending walls (21, 22) that are bent such that lower end parts (21a, 22a) turn around the tip parts (12a, 13a) of the upright walls (12, 13) from the inside to the outside in the width direction. Further, the upper rail (3) has a coupling member (23) that is joined to the extending walls (21, 22) so as to overlap bend regions (21b, 22b) of the lower end parts (21a, 22a). The coupling member (23) has portions that are located further to the outside in the width direction than the lower end parts (21a, 22a) of the extending walls (21, 22). Said portions are sandwiched in the width direction between the lower end parts (21a, 22a) of the extending walls (21, 22) and rising portions (12b, 13b) of the upright walls (12, 13).</p>
