CALL CONTROL METHOD AND APPARATUS

Disclosed are a call control method and an apparatus. The call control method comprises: a base station controller (BSC) receiving a paging respond returned by a user equipment, the paging response carrying an international mobile subscriber identity (IMSI) and/or a temporary mobile subscriber identity (TMSI); the BSC detecting whether the IMSI and/or the TMSI of the user equipment exists in a call record of the BSC in a preset time; and in a case in which the IMSI and the TMSI of the user equipment does not exist in the paging record, the BSC determining the user equipment as a called user equipment of a circuit switched fallback (CSFB). In the call control method in the embodiment of the present invention, after the BSC receives the paging response returned by the user equipment, the BSC can detect whether the IMSI and/or the TMSI of the user equipment exists in the paging record in the preset time, so that whether the user equipment is a called user equipment of the CSFB can be rapidly identified.
