摘要 The present invention relates to a vehicle controlling method and an apparatus therefor. More particularly, the present invention provides a vehicle controlling method using a dual lidar sensor and an apparatus therefor. The vehicle controlling method according to the present invention comprises: a first lidar sensor including a first light-emitting part for emitting a laser beam to an object, a first optical part for splitting or collecting the reflected laser beam using a first linear polarization characteristic and a first light receiving part for receiving the laser beam split or collected by the first optical part; a second lidar sensor including a second light-emitting part for emitting a laser beam to an object in an area of splitting or expanding the viewing angle or the detection distance of the first lidar sensor (31a, 31b), a second optical part for splitting or collecting the reflected laser beam using a second linear polarization characteristic perpendicular to the first linear polarization characteristic and a second light-receiving part for receiving the laser beam split or collected by the second optical part; and a signal processing part for measuring the shape of the object and a distance to the object based on the data of the laser beam provided by the first lidar sensor and the second lidar sensor.
