The invention relates to devices for repairing a winding of an electric machine and can be used for carrying out repair work in factories and workshops involved in the manufacture and repair of electric machines. The technical result consists in simplifying the apparatus, reducing the weight and overall dimensions thereof, enabling the use of the apparatus in small repair shops, and improving the magnetic properties of the core by burning off burrs and eliminating deformation during punching along the cut edge by tempering the metal with local heating along the groove contour. This technical result is achieved in that the apparatus for extracting a winding of an electric machine or a part thereof, which comprises an appliance for grasping a winding and extracting same from grooves and a heater in the form of an induction coil connected to a high-frequency current source, is characterized in that the induction coil is in the form of a spiral and is designed such that the magnetic lines of force produced by the induction coil are directed perpendicular to the lamination of the coil.
