Disclosed is a power plant using a jack-up rig. The power plant using a jack-up rig of the present invention comprises a generator connected with a main engine installed on used jack-up rig or jack-up rig waste in advance; and an accelerating unit connected with the main engine and the generator, and increasing the number of revolution to transfer to the generator.
