<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy method of desulfurizing a vulcanized rubber.SOLUTION: A method of desulfurizing a rubber without use of an alkali metal, carbon dioxide, microwaves, ultrasonic waves or a catalyst includes a step of bringing a vulcanized rubber into contact with a specified turpentine liquid in a reaction mixture, and the turpentine liquid reduces the content of sulfur in the vulcanized rubber and serves as a desulfurization agent which breaks sulfur crosslinks in the vulcanized rubber.</p> |
