Provided are: a device for conveying an absorbent article and that can correctly sort the absorbent article among a primary conveyance path and a branch path; and a conveyance method using same. A path switching means (5) is provided with: a belt conveyance unit having a conveyer belt (18) that is routed along an annular path and performs a circulating operation along the annular path in a manner so that the absorbent article (A1) can be conveyed; and a path switching mechanism that switches the conveyance path delineated by the conveyer belt (18) between a path in which the absorbent article (A1) can be delivered from an upstream-side conveyance mechanism (2) to a downstream-side conveyance mechanism (3), and a path in which the absorbent article (A1) is led from the upstream-side conveyance mechanism (2) along a sampling path (R3). |
