PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoxy resin composition and prepreg capable of providing a composite material having excellent flame resistance without containing halogen-based flame retardant, red phosphorus and phosphoric acid ester, and to provide a fiber reinforced composite material obtained by using the prepreg.SOLUTION: There is provided a method of manufacturing a prepreg by preparing an epoxy resin composition containing a phosphorus compound, a curing agent for an epoxy resin and aluminum hydroxide and impregnating the epoxy resin composition in a reinforced fiber where a median particle diameter of the aluminum hydroxide is a diameter of the reinforced fiber or less, adherent moisture of the aluminum hydroxide is 0.07 mass% to 0.5 mass% and the curing agent for the epoxy resin is dicyandiamide. |
