<p>The purpose of the present invention is to make possible treatment for rendering various types of gas containing hazardous materials harmless, and switch the direction for intake and exhausting of gas flowing within a treatment device and thereby reliably discharge treated gas to the outside without the treated gas remaining within a hazardous material eliminating device. A hazardous material eliminating device (3), which eliminates hazardous material from a gas containing hazardous material, is connected to an intake and exhaust direction switching device (2), which can switch the direction of intake and exhausting of gas. The intake and exhaust direction switching device (2) is provided with an intake chamber (4) that takes in the gas containing hazardous material, and a first intake and exhaust chamber (5) and a second intake and exhaust chamber (6), which are for intake and exhausting of gas and connected to the intake chamber (4) and the hazardous material eliminating device (3). The first intake and exhaust chamber (5) and the second intake and exhaust chamber (6) are linked with the intake chamber (4) by intake pipes (8, 11), which are provided with on-off valves (7). The first intake and exhaust chamber (5) is connected to an upper intake and exhaust opening (37) for the hazardous material eliminating device (3) by an intake and exhaust pipe (18), and the second intake and exhaust chamber (6) is connected to a lower intake and exhaust opening (38) for the hazardous material eliminating device (3) by an intake and exhaust pipe (19). Exhaust pipes (14, 15), which are for exhausting gas following treatment and provided with on-off valves (7), are connected to the intake and exhaust pipes (18, 19).</p> |
