The present invention presents a washing machine and a spin-dry control method thereof, which can correctly detect an unbalance error in a spin-dry mode. The present invention resets a vibration limit value for detecting the unbalance error in the washing machine having a vibration sensor suitably for an environment where the washing machine is actually installed, and detects the unbalance error with the vibration limit value reset in the spin-dry mode, thereby enhancing laundry unbalance detection sensitivity according to an installation state, so it can enhance an occurrence frequency of the unbalance error which abnormally occurs.
