Provided is an apparatus for controlling LDC in an electric vehicle, which is linked with a startup unit, LDC, and load, that comprises: a CAN communications unit performing CAN communications with the load using a CAN bus; and a control unit feeding a power control signal to the LDC, and sending and receiving data such as status information of LDC and load. The control unit outputs the power-on control signal to the LDC when the IGN signal status information is off and data exists on the CAN bus; and outputs the power-off control signal to the LDC when the IGN signal status information is on and data does not exist on the CAN bus. |
