PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device capable of reliably suppressing speckle noise, and further to provide a projector.SOLUTION: A lighting device comprises: a first light source for emitting a first light beam; a second light source for emitting a second light beam; a light synthesizing optical system 80 for synthesizing the second light beam emitted from the second light source and the first light beam reflected by a reflecting mirror while having the reflecting mirror for at least reflecting the first light beam emitted from the first light source; a driver for changing a reflecting surface shape of the reflecting mirror such that the reflecting surface shape of the reflecting mirror is corrugated in terms of time. At least the first light source is a laser light source for emitting a laser light beam as the first light beam. |
