PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and highly reliable device which separates excess spray of a liquid coating material from a discharged air stream in a manner to save energy.SOLUTION: A device 126 for separating excess spray from a discharged air stream 120 including particles of the excess spray of a liquid coating material when the particles of the excess spray of the liquid coating material enter the discharged air stream in a coating area of a coating line comprises separation devices 145 for separating the excess spray. The separation device has a renewable surface filter element 146. A flow channel of the discharged air stream 120 from the coating area 108 to the separation devices 145 has a narrow area 140. The device 126 comprises flow guide elements 132 which face to a substantially flat plane. On the upper side of the guide elements 132, flow guide surfaces 135 for guiding the discharged air stream 120 to the narrow area 140 are defined respectively. |
