The present invention relates to a spread spectrum clock generator and a control module thereof. The spread spectrum clock generator according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a control number generating unit to generate an integer and a rational number; an integer converting unit to convert the integer according to a type of the integer and output a converted integer; a rational number converting unit to convert the rational number according to a type of the integer and output a converted rational number; a modulator to modulate the converted rational number to output a modulated rational number; and a division ratio generating unit to output a division ratio using the converted integer and the modulated rational number. According to the present invention, a discontinuity in rational numbers occurring in a conventional spread spectrum clock generator is alleviated to prevent errors and control abnormalities that can occur in a spread spectrum clock generator. |
