The present invention provides a synthetic resin cap that makes it possible to maintain sealing properties without sacrificing opening properties even when the size of an opening is decreased. The synthetic resin cap (1) is formed using a mold (23) that comprises a resin inlet (27), and said synthetic resin cap (1) is provided with an opening (16) and a thin wall section (17). The opening (16) and the thin wall section (17) are provided such that a resin inlet mark (27A) is positioned therebetween. The opening (16) is configured so that a detachable piece (18) is connected by a weakened section (19). The thin wall section (17) is configured so as to intersect the radial direction (R) of a virtual circle (C) having the resin inlet mark (27A) as the center thereof.
