Disclosed in the present invention are a method and an apparatus for reporting channel state information in a wireless communication system supporting small cells. The method of controlling operation state of small cells by cell operation control unit in a wireless communication system may comprise: a step of receiving, from the terminal, channel state information which the terminal decides based on the discovery signals transmitted from small cells; and a step of controlling the operation state of small cells based on the channel state information. Also, the channel state information can be a response signal for the non-periodic CSI (channel state information) feedback request signal received by the terminal. |
