<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner that achieves both low-temperature fixability and heat-resistant storage property at high level; suppresses the occurrence of the aggregation of the toner inside a developing unit caused by insufficient mechanical durability due to the use of a crystalline resin, contamination of a carrier and the inside of an apparatus, and a deterioration in chargeability and fluidity due to the embedment of an external additive; and quickly recovers the elastic modulus of the toner after fixation, so as to improve the hardness of images and provide high-quality images with excellent friction resistance.SOLUTION: A toner for image formation contains a colorant, binder resin, and mold release agent, where the binder resin includes a copolymer resin A having a structural unit derived from a crystalline polyester resin A1 and a structural unit derived from an amorphous polyester resin A2, and an amorphous resin B, and 30 to 70 mass% of the amorphous resin B is contained in the binder resin; when binarization processing is performed with an intermediate value between the maximum value and the minimum value of the phase difference in a phase image obtained by performing tapping mode AFM observation to the binder resin, and a phase difference image composed of a portion with large phase difference is a first phase difference image and one composed of a portion with small phase difference is a second phase difference image, a dispersion diameter and width of the first phase difference image are 100 nm or less.</p> |
