<p>The present invention relates to a contact information updating method and mobile terminal, the method comprising: when a mobile terminal fails in calling a phone number, the mobile terminal receives information of the cause of the connection failure corresponding to the phone number fed back by a network side; if the mobile terminal identifies the phone number as an invalid number according to the information of the cause of the connection failure, then searching the contact list to check whether the contact information corresponding to the invalid number exists or not; if yes, then the mobile terminal updates the contact information. When a mobile terminal identifies the call-failed phone number as an invalid number according to the feedback from the network side, the contact information updating method and mobile terminal of the present invention can prompt the user to delete the invalid number, causing the contact information to be updated automatically, thus facilitating the updating process and improving user experience.</p> |
