PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phantom for calibration suitable for use in both medical resonance imaging and a radiation imaging system, and a relevant method.SOLUTION: A phantom 10 for calibrating a medical imaging system includes: a first component 12 which has a first outer shape, and defines a portion of at least one pocket with a portion of the first outer shape; and a second component 14 which is connected to the first component, has a second outer shape, and defines a different portion of the at least one pocket with a portion of the second outer shape. At least one of the first and second components includes a reservoir. The reservoir has such a shape that at least a portion thereof positions the center of the at least one pocket. |
