PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaving head for use in a shaving device for removing hairs from skin by cutting through the hairs, which is improved in skin contour following and can obtain excellent contour following performance at two levels, i.e., at the level of an area of relatively small contour changes and at the level of an area of relatively large contour changes.SOLUTION: A shaving head 3 comprises at least one cutting unit 4. In the cutting unit 4, an external cutting member 5 is arranged which has a function of contacting skin to be subjected to a shaving action and is suspended relative to a holder 8 of the shaving head 3 through suspension means. In particular, the suspension means comprises at least two pivot constructions; one pivot construction enables a member 9 of the suspension means to pivot relative to the holder 8, and another pivot construction enables the external cutting member 5 to pivot relative to the suspension member 9. Furthermore, a pivoting stiffness of a connection of the latter pivot construction is lower than a pivoting stiffness of the former pivot construction. |
