The present invention applies to the communications field. Provided are an MTC downlink data transmission method, a base station and a user equipment (UE), comprising: a UE obtaining downlink transmission parameters, wherein the downlink transmission parameters comprise a number of resource blocks of a downlink transmission bandwidth configured by a base station for the UE, an antenna port for the base station to send MTC downlink data, and at least one of the following: a cell offset value or a CP type; based on the downlink transmission parameters, the UE setting a local oscillator frequency of a receiver; the UE receiving the MTC downlink data sent by the base station, wherein a subcarrier located in a subcarrier empty position does not carry any data signal or reference signal, and the subcarrier empty position is determined by the base station based on the downlink transmission parameters in the downlink transmission bandwidth. The present invention avoids a situation that accurate receiving of subcarriers near a direct current is affected because a new direct current is introduced by UE narrowband radio frequency receiving. |
