This illumination apparatus (300) is provided with: a flexible planar light-emitting unit (100); a flexible light diffusion plate (200) disposed on the light-emitting side of the planar light-emitting unit (100); and a support frame (300) supporting the planar light-emitting unit (100) and the light diffusion plate (200) such that the planar light-emitting unit (100) and the light diffusion plate (200) have curved surfaces, while a fixed gap is maintained between the planar light-emitting unit (100) and the light diffusion plate (200). The support frame (300) includes a first guide (301) having a curved portion for supporting edges of the planar light-emitting unit (100), and a second guide (302) having a curved portion for supporting edges of the light diffusion plate (200), the second guide (302) being provided in parallel with the first guide (301). |
