The power plant using the containership of the present invention comprises: a generator connected to a pre-installed main engine of a used containership or a waste containership; and an accelerating unit connected to the main engine and the generator, increasing a number of rotation of the main engine, and transmitting the same to the generator. The power plant is arranged on the seashore or the riverside adjacent to land in which there are infra facilities, and supplies at least one of power and fuels to the infra facilities.
