PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floating matter recovery pump device capable of taking in floating matters reliably and efficiently by increasing a wide and laminated suction flow near the water surface, and a running-type recovery ship that can easily make sharp turns in view of the presence of urgency in the case of oil spill accidents, and that enables re-use through its direct recovery, in order to improve the floating matter recovery technology.SOLUTION: Setting a floating matter recovery pump device of this invention in a ship and making them as an integral system enable this system to be utilized as a running-type floating matter recovery ship. The floating matter recovery pump device based on this technology is constituted in such a way that after floating matters near the water surface are widely taken by the pump, only the floating matters can be recovered at a floating matter separating tank connected to a discharging duct under utilization of specific gravity difference. In the case of recovery of spilt oil, direct recovery of oil under utilization of specific gravity difference without using any treatment agent enables re-use of recovered oil. |
