PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for key distribution for digital cinema presentation.SOLUTION: Key distribution within a digital cinema presentation facility 140 occurs according to acquiring processing that provides for automatic acquisition at scheduled time. The processing further includes redundant mechanisms to transfer necessary keys in different methods to enable theater personnel to obtain the necessary key in the various different methods.
