PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water purifier comprising sterilization capacity and capable of being used in a house.SOLUTION: A deep ultraviolet LED 22 is used as a sterilization light source of a water purifier and the deep ultraviolet LED is cooled by water flowing into the water purifier, and the deep ultraviolet LED 22 has an ultraviolet generation part 22 and a heat radiation part 122. A series of water channels for guiding water which is target of sterilization pass the ultraviolet generation part and the heat radiation part, and in the water itself which is target of sterilization, when cooling is insufficient, flowing water for cooling which is not mixed with clean water is added for cooling the heat radiation part. The deep ultraviolet LED structure is submerged in a water storage part 40, for performing sterilization of water and cooling of the deep ultraviolet LED structure at the same time. PWM control and water cooling are combined, the deep ultraviolet LED is efficiently cooled by using an ultraviolet non-generated cooling period, and according to an amount of flowing water, the ultraviolet energy generated from the deep ultraviolet LED is changed by the PWM control. In addition, in a state that power in an electric lamp is supplied for every predetermined water purifier use, test of secondary battery driving is performed. According to a state of water flowing, power is supplied to the deep ultraviolet LED from the secondary battery. |
