<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve performance of a semiconductor device by preventing the occurrence of color mixture in pixels which compose an image pickup element.SOLUTION: In a semiconductor device, in a region between neighboring pixels and the region for isolating regions for forming color filters CFs for respective pixels, a division wall SW1 is formed by an insulation film S1 which has a refractive index smaller than that of the color filter CF and an insulation film S2 which is formed to cover a side wall of the insulation film S1 and has a refractive index larger than that of the color filter CF. With this configuration, incident light on a top face of the division wall SW1 is prevented from invading into the neighboring pixel.</p> |
