<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for determining a pitch arrangement and a determination program for a pitch arrangement which can determine a pitch arrangement showing good tire characteristics, efficiently by using a genetic algorithm.SOLUTION: A method of determining a pitch arrangement includes a step of setting constraint conditions imposed on the pitch arrangement of a tread pattern including a pitch arrangement condition for setting the pitch arrangement of the tread pattern to be a specified pitch arrangement consisting of a plurality of types of pitches different in pitch length and an objective function outputting physical quantities of tire characteristics for a simulation based on the pitch arrangement and a step of selecting a part of a plurality of set trial arrangements on the basis of the fitness to the objective function and the constraint conditions and modifying a part of pitch arrangements in the selected trial arrangements so as to meet the pitch arrangement condition so as to create a new trial arrangements.</p> |
