摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water supply control device of a direct injection type internal combustion engine which can reduce a supply amount of water supplied into a cylinder without causing deterioration in an exhaust characteristic.SOLUTION: The water supply amount control device is applied to a direct injection type internal combustion engine 1 which injects fuel from a center part 2a in the cylinder 2. The water supply control device includes a condensed water supply mechanism 22 which can change a supply state of condensed water supplied into the cylinder 2 between a state in which the condensed water is limitedly supplied to the center part 2a in the cylinder 2, and a state in which the condensed water is supplied wholly into the cylinder 2, and when a water storage amount in a storage tank 21 is in a water shortage state in which the stored water amount becomes a prescribed amount or less, the water supply control device controls the condensed water supply mechanism 22 to limitedly supply the condensed water to the center part 2a in the cylinder 2.
