An electric vacuum cleaner has a main body part (12) provided with: an electric fan (25); and a first centrifugal separation part (32) for centrifugally separating dust from dust-containing air drawn in by the electric fan (25). The first centrifugal separation part (32) has a dust collection cup (19) provided with: a dust collection cup body (66) formed in a bottomed cylindrical shape, said cup body causing the dust-containing air to circle in the interior thereof; and an exhaust tube part (74) formed along the center axis of the dust collection cup body (66), the exhaust of the electric fan (25) being discharged from a bottom part of said exhaust tube part. |
