Disclosed are a flexible transparent electrode and a manufacturing method thereof. A transparent electrode according to an embodiment of the present invention is a flexible transparent electrode (100) which comprises: a parent substrate (110) formed with flexible and transparent material; and a metal pattern (120) which is formed on the parent substrate (110) in a mesh shape and comprises an electric conductive metal material. The metal pattern (120) is patterned on the upper side of the parent substrate (110) by using an electro hydrodynamic jet printing method and sintered and manufactured. The electro hydrodynamic jet printing method is a method of forming the metal pattern (120) on the upper side of the parent substrate (110) after applying alternating voltage of a predetermined size to a jet nozzle (212) of an electro hydrodynamic jet printing device (200). According to the transparent electrode and the manufacturing method of the present invention, a transparent electrode of a flexible structure can be manufactured with a simple process as compared with the existing technology and production costs can be reduced as compared with the existing technology.
