<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier catalyst for volatile organic compounds, which can allow the specific surface area thereof to be made larger and a catalyst layer to be hardly exfoliated from a carrier even if the amount of the catalyst layer to be deposited is increased, when the catalyst layer for volatile organic compounds is deposited on the carrier, and consequently the performance of the catalyst can be improved and apparatus design of a catalytic combustion method can be facilitated. <P>SOLUTION: The carrier catalyst is obtained by depositing the catalyst layer on the surface of the carrier. The catalyst layer is characterized in that at least one of a cerium oxide particle and a copper oxide particle is held in a void of a porous structure in which a composite silicate compound particle interposed between the adjacent cobalt oxide particles is disposed in a coarse state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
